First of all: I am sorry about the delay. I'm sure you waited curiously for some news from FedCon. First thing I can say is: It's been a blast! Second thing, which also explains the delay: Have you ever heard of a phenomenon called "con-blues"? When I first went to that convention, people warned me about that effect which would cause a certain depression and demotivation to do anything straight after the con. What seemed like a joke to me at first is actually a fact and has to do with the tremendous mood and excitement that FedCon brings along. However, we're finally back again and here's our report. Click "read more" to read our convention diary and for some information about the release delay.

We have finalized our evaluations after the numerous applications we received. First of all: Thanks to every applicant for taking the time to fill our form! In this first run, we have selected a total of 23 testers. Our decision was based on numerous factors, such as time zones, available time periods, hardware configurations and the overall impression of the application. If you haven't made it in - don't worry! There might still be chances to get in in the second run or later. And now onto the list of applicants that have made it into the team: TNE Beta Team Congratulations to everyone!

During the last two weeks we have received more than 100 applications for our closed beta team. Since we are going into beta phase very soon due to the FedCon release event, we now need to close the application process to review your numerous applications. Since the closed beta team will work closely together with the developer team, we will be reviewing every application very closely. The decisions are based on numerous factors, so in case you have applied and do not make it - don't be worried. The launch date is not so far ahead and soon, you shall also be able to play the first version of the mod. We would like to thank all applicants for taking the time to fill the form. Due to the sheer amount of applications, please expect another week until the team is settled down. You will be informed via eMail if you've made it to the beta team.

You have been waiting for this day and now, the time has come. We are starting to put together our beta team. If you are willing to participate, you will be part of our quality assurance. As a tester, you have a direct influence on the quality of the released mod and do have the ability to play early versions. However, beta testing is a serious task as well if we want to make it a productive effort. Before you apply, there are certain aspects of the beta you should be aware of. You can find this information in addition to the application form in our forum: Beta Applications

Congratulations! Well deserved, with that resemblence to all those "300" pranks around the web, it gets a slightly comedic aspect.
At least that prize is better than the LucasFiles contest I once won
