I've started mapping for Half Life 1 ( => CS, NS, HLDM and standard SP) more than 6 years ago (yeah: I was 13) ; and when the source engine came I switched to that instead (HL²:SP, HL²DM, CS:S, The Combine [Mod] and other stuff).... which pretty much means I spent a considerably long time in front of the hammer editor.
And after I just had a break for a year recently, I started looking for a mod I could apply for, and here's why I decided to apply for TA:
- the pictures you showed on moddb showed some impressive stuff (like those map screens and the arnold nude model which was kinda disturbing)
- I think this might be a theme where my individual mapping skills like brushwork and texture alignment may come in handy
- you stated the importance of teamwork in the "read before applying"-thread which I really agree with
- it's Terminator, dammit!

- I could give you hardware details but you might as well just trust me that my computer is quite capable of compiling maps
