Software Developer application for The New Era project

Experience:

• Just started modifying Source engine code (past 2 months). Added two entities that are usable in Hammer. One of them allows an AVI to be played on a material (based on the AVI tutorial on VDC wiki).
• 10+ years of programming in C++ (mainly) and various other languages, with most recent in VB.NET and C#
• Spent last 7 years administrating web site (JKHub.net), writing scripts, creating programs (like JKLauncher), and patching the exe for Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2.
• Currently employed as software developer for a Mechanical Engineering research group at a university

Reasons for wanting to help: Like Star Wars, love to program, love to play video games, want to program for newer game engine (Source being logical because my favorite games right now are Left 4 Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2)

I feel a little naughty, asking you this...
We (Terminator Apocalypse Mod) could really need a coder.
There is a lot of work that's done but without the propper coder its kind of in sleep mode.

If hes ok with that I have no objections, I'm handling things on my end pretty well atm and you guys could for sure benefit more with having a coder then I could.

Although I have no real interest in the Terminator mod's content, I'd still enjoy the coding. So, sure, I'll code for the Terminator mod.

It is likely the coding for the two mods would be similar in some areas, due to similar gameplay aspects (i.e. deathmatch, teams, and the like).

also, just want to add that i'm a huge fan of JKhub. JK:DF2 was the first game that got me into video game development, and massassi.net and JKhub was where i met people who taught me a lot of the things i know nowadays.
